Joshua Domb

Joshua Domb is the Founder and Managing Partner of Gen-R Law. He leads the firm’s ESG, Compliance and Investigations practice.

Joshua advises clients on matters across the spectrum of ESG issues, with a particular focus on greenwashing, supply chain risk, human rights and modern slavery, the integration of ESG into business operations, ESG and climate literacy training and sustainability reporting.

Joshua also regularly advises clients on corporate governance, with a particular focus on bribery, fraud, money laundering and tax evasion.  He has extensive experience conducting related risk assessments, designing and implementing tailored compliance programmes and training senior leadership teams on these important topics.

Before setting up Gen-R Law, Joshua trained and qualified as a White Collar Crime lawyer at DLA Piper. He joined Paul Hastings as an associate, before moving to McDermott Will & Emery as a senior associate. During this time, he regularly advised leading corporates and high-profile individuals on domestic and international issues involving allegations of bribery, corruption, money laundering, fraud and tax evasion. Joshua uses this deep regulatory expertise to inform his approach to advising on how corporate shortcomings on matters related to climate change and ESG can translate into legal and regulatory risks.

Joshua’s excellence in ESG has been recognised on numerous occasions, including as a finalist for both the 2024 Legal ESG “Paul Watchman Young Lawyer” award, and Legal 500, 2025 “ESG: Rising Star” award. He has spoken at numerous conferences and on podcasts about the role of ESG in the legal profession and regularly publishes articles focusing on developments in these spaces.
